Showmars 521 Indian Land

This is a quick to go spot for us. They have rescued us on so many nights of "don't know what's for dinner", "forgot to take meat out of the freezer" and/or just don't feel like cooking tonight. We usually order online and go through the drive thru to pick up. The food is always good, hot and ready when we get there. They never forget napkins, sauces, utensils, etc. The staff and manager are always friendly and do a great job! We don't have many fast places around us that even have half as good of food! We are glad they are close and love the convenience. Also, we love they have mini meals for kids and adults. I don't usually eat a full adult meal and always have issues ordering kids meals when we go other places; won't have issues like that here!

I came back to my original review to say that I ordered lunch today and had a small issue with my order. The manager on duty today around 1pm was so kind and helpful and fixed the issue and then some. When everyone is struggling this means so much! Food is expensive and your kindness is very much appreciated. 5 stars again! The food is always hot, correct and well plated! I always get my extra ranch and I love this place! The Chicken Souvlaki is one of my favorites with a salad and fries!

Overall a good take out experience! Navigating and ordering through their online menu was easy and effortless. The ability to utilize a drive thru to pick it up made it quick and convenient. The food was fresh and hot even after a 10 minute drive home. Love that their fish is “wild caught” and of good quality. One of the reasons we keep going back. Unlike many other restaurants that have upped their prices, yet began giving you less food, Showmars continues to serve a decent amount of food and maintain their good service. Staff at the drive thru window were fast, efficient and friendly. My only tip would be to season their onion rings. Will definitely be going back!

Been coming to this Showmars for a while now since it’s close to my work. Lately I’ve been ordering the World Famous Fish Sandwich! It’s my favorite by far. It holds a special place in the hearts and bellies of many Charlotte and Carolina residents. It’s made with wild-caught Alaskan Pollock, and this sandwich boasts a mild flavor, delicate texture, and lean, snowy-white meat, similar to cod. It’s an ample portion of fish. The Fish: It's sustainably sourced, battered, and fried to a satisfying crisp, resulting in a hot and flaky fillet. The Bread: A warm, classic bun provides a soft and yielding contrast to the crispy fish. The Sauce: Showmars' signature homemade tartar sauce adds a tangy and creamy element that complements the fish well.

Showmars 521 Indian Land is an excellent Greek fast food style restaurant. Staff is very quick and friendly and the food is great. Good variety also of fish, burgers, and the Greek offerings as well. Your meal will always be hot and fresh here and their Pitas are really special. Also got their Catcus Chili which was very good, though I’d like some heat and not quite as sweet flavor. Still great though!

I visited Shomar’s for the first time in awhile and I wondered why I don’t dine here more often. The Indian Land location is really well managed. The staff is very personable, the restaurant is very clean and the food is excellent. Best fish sandwich around!
